First you have zero which is unbounded. The number one equals creation or the start.  The number two is the difference. If you look at the number 1 it looks like an arrow. Lots of ones in the name signal energy, drive ambition and forward movement. Aries is the first sign in the zodiac, and Aries like to be first. There are other planets in the chart but the Sun is the biggest “planet” in the solar system and it is the engine in the chart.

The first numbered Trump in the Tarot is the magician. In the Tarot The Magician has a slightly different expression. It is more mental in approach. Also it is ruled by Mercury, in the system I use the number 1 is ruled by the Sun. Mercury has the fastest revolution around the Sun. It is the planet of communication, primary school, transportation, contracts, commerce and thieves.

Mercury is currently retrograde so you’ll find that communication, travel, contracts and short journey are problematic.  Mercury retrograde or going backwards is a “re” time. Review, recheck and reorder.

I learned Tarot and Numerology in 1997. I started my astrology studies in 1998. In the intervening years I have taken workshops attended classes and forums, with Mary Greer in Sydney, with Shelley Ackerman and Jeannie Reed at the The Quest Bookshop in New York. Hi Ann. Very interesting book. However personally I use a slightly different order of the court cards. They are using what appears to be a modified version of Paul Foster Case’s system. There is another book The pursuit of destiny – Muriel Hasbrouck published about 1941.

    Del,
The 3 numbers has blown my mind a couple times. I want to hear how that is evolving. But my real question this time around is about the anticipation surrounding 2012. I know a lot of this is hype and sensationalist–a Mayan system being filtered through the Western media and mental filter. These numbers are from the western calendar not the Mayan system. Do these numbers have any special meaning? And is 2012 turning up in your tools/intuitions as a year of some massive impact? It’s the year of the dragon after all!
    Great you started a page.
Best out in all and love to the family,
    Geoff

Hi Geoff. The 3 number reading blows my mind. I am using it in my readings as the opening key. I spent about 3 years working on the corespondence for for the 3 numbers. At first I was using numerology and and Tarot for the correspespondence. That was a bit limiting, so then I worked on a correspondence for the numbers from 0 to about 930. I looked at a few magical tables and realizing the correspondence I needed didn’t exist. So I worked on it for two years. You might remember the email I sent out a few years asking for three numbers and I would give free readings. Well that was part of the project. The other major change is that I use the system for the timing of events. I have had some success with that aspect.

I only know one branch of western Astrology. So I am looking at 2012 with a western mind. The biggest problem that I have with the Mayan horoscope, is that the language of the calendar may not be the language that present day Mayan’s are speaking. I could be totally wrong about this, but I am not certain that the calendar can be translated. In order to have a translation you need to have a person that speaks the language to be translated and the outcome language.
Also it helps if I person is versed in the subject of the translation.

However I think things are shifting. I don’t think 2012 will be the end of the world just the end of an old way of doing things. When Pluto was discovered it was in the sign of Cancer, which signifies the home. When we had the Global Financial Crisis Pluto was in Capricorn , which signifies large organizations, which is the polar opposite sign to cancer. You also remember that Pluto got demoted by Astronomers. Which is a beautiful symetry.

I am not certain about what you mean by the numbers not being from the Mayan system. I have a friend who is in Guatemela and I had two dates that came out of two seperate readings. Which is very unusual because out of all the reading I have done for myself these were the only two I asked about. It turns out the dates were the end of a count in the Mayan system, which is a 1 in 20 chance but both together is more likee 1 in 400. So I don’t know the Mayan System but I think there is a thread that runs through all systems.

Yeah I am finding my intuition is getting stronger. I have had Clairvoyant, Clairaudient, Clairsentient and and I smelled something psychically, and had a telepathic experience all with in the space of a year. I wasn’t trying they just happened.

Yeah I am looking forward to 2012 because it is a Dragon Year and I am a Dragon. So it will be return of the Dragon.

      Thanks. Take care, Del

Hi Geoff I would look at the number 2012 in two different ways, First summing the individual digits together and reducing and

continuing until you end up with one number (fadic addition). Then looking at the interplay of the four digits. So you end up with

a 5 and 2012. The 5 is the major meaning and the 2012 adds more flavor to the 5. For instance if two people are a number 5 one is a

23 and the other is a 32. The 23 is primarily concerned with relating or being social and secondarily concerned with the adventure

or the experience. That ranking is reversed with the 23. So getting back to the 5 and the 2012. In Numerology 5 has the following

qualities: man, humanity, flexibility, change and so on. For 2012 the meanings are more complex since you have 4 digits: the

realization that the world is a series of relationships and the individual or the action has an effect on the environment on

different levels, the responsibility is to look beyond self interest. The other problem is that it is almost impossible to know what

an action can spawn. It starts with how the individual interacts with the environment and how the environment is effected by the

individual. Everything is interwoven so an individual or an action has a chaotic effect on the environment. Choose with knowledge

      (consciously).

Fascinating stuff! Do you have any thoughts on quantum theory and how it relates to your studies?

    • 2converse says:

Hi Troy. I was reading a bit about it and the people involved last year. The thing that is really interesting is that is a theory of probability, and there is a dividing line between the very small and the very large.

I have to say that I don’t have the mathematical skills but some of the ideas are interesting. For instance an atom when it changes energy state it disappears and then reappears. That matter exist as a probability in a field. That we can only locate a particle’s position or momentum not both. I read somewhere that time travel is not impossible according to Quantum theory.

Some of the ideas in Quantum theory sound like mysticism.

The idea that underpins Astrology, Numerology, Tarot, Magick and other areas of esoterica is correspondence. So this symbol or action is related or effects some other action. Quantum theory says that before the universe began the four forces of nature were a unity. That there was only one thing and it expanded. So you could infer that everything is connected although it seems different.

There are two books I would recommend Ken Wilber has a book on religion and Quantum theory. Also Amit Goswami who was in what the bleep do we know. He is a Quantum Theory who talks about the consciousness of the universe.

      • Troy Johnson says:

“Some of the ideas in Quantum theory sound like mysticism.” Yeah, that is what I was wondering.

Then whole concept that “everything is connected although it seems different” is fascinating and seems consitent with many religious beliefs.

While their is an effort to unify the equations with govern the very large and the very small. It seems there could also be a similiar effort to “unify” the worlds beliefs. In other words fight to find the commonality rather than running around killing each others over the differences…

  4. 2converse says:

I am totally onside with that idea/feeling/philosophy. I feel that religions are like languages, you are using diffeent sounding words to describe the same thing.

In Quantum Theory gravity is the odd force amongst the four forces, Strong Force, the Weak Force and Electromagnetic. The idea popped into my head/inner voice that Gravity is a type of electromagnetism. I haven’t seen any books about this yet. I haven’t really pursued it because I don’t know enough science to understand the answers and I try to work on one experiment/project at a time that is interesting to me and that doesn’t offer financial renumeration.

I think the problem of Religion, Politics, Sex, Race or any other dividing category is about, ego, power, control and elitism. The mind likes to put things in boxes. Pythagoreans defined the number 1 as unity and by extension the Creator. They defined to as a duality and evil, since there is a difference. For me if there is a difference then there is likely to be conflict. I prefer to think that each individual is a leaf but we are all part of the same tree.
